Karl Vasquez Salon will host a cut-a-thon event to benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Desert.

The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4. Organizers encourage patrons to make a minimum $25 donation to the event. The cut-a-thon will also feature raffles prizes and giveaways.

The salon is at 72-180 Highway 111 in Palm Desert.
