City work crews shut down one lane of westbound Ramon Road at Avenida Los Ninos, just west of Date Palm Drive, city officials said.

The closure is expected to last throughout the daytime until Thursday afternoon, said Cathedral City Public Relations Officer Lynn T. Mallotto.

Crews are providing a space for SunLine customers to access the bus stop, Malloto said.
Crews are making an emergency repair on a failing catch basin on the north side of Ramon Road.
