The City Council took action on several items at its Sept. 25 meeting.

The council approved an amendment to the city's code that addresses emergency spending in the event of a local emergency. The amendment strengthens the city manager's ability to purchase needed materials.
An amendment to an ordinance releasing a developer from having to maintain well sites on property at Portola Avenue and College Drive and Gerald Ford Drive was approved.
A development agreement was approved for a proposed 20-unit senior housing apartment project on 73-582 Catalina Way.
