The Cathedral City Fire Department will hold its 20th annual open house and Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 11) at the fire administration building, 32-100 Desert Vista Road.

The open house is part of the nation-wide observance of Fire Prevention Week, October 5 – 11, to educate citizens on fire hazards and safety tips.
The Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile will also be on hand during the event to take donations to benefit the toddler of one of our Riverside County fire families.
The Community Blood Bank encourages all donors to eat a large breakfast with protein before donating.
All donors must present a photo I.D. before donating.
