A portion of Highway 62 near the border between San Bernardino and Riverside counties has reopened this afternoon following a fatal crash that killed two people, according to the California Highway Patrol's Web site.

The collision occurred just before noon and involved a motorcycle and a flatbed truck, officials said.
The crash occurred along Highway 62, at milemarker 87. The roadway was shutdown at about the junction of state Highway 62 and U.S. Highway 95, officials said.
Authorities reopened a portion of the roadway about about 4:15 p.m. Other parts remain closed.
