3.4 earthquake strikes border

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake shook the Ocotillo area near the California and Mexico border at 11:04 a.m. today, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake was at a depth of 5 kilometers, with an epicenter 7 miles southeast of Ocotillo, 64 miles east of Tijuana, Baja California Mexico.
