Celebrity chef to whip up dish from his cookbook

Celebrity chef Marc Cummings is teaming up with Hyatt Grand Champions' executive chef Chris Mitchum for a demonstration on Oct. 18.

The free event starts at 5 p.m. at the resort, 44600 Indian Wells Lane.

The demo will feature a meal featured in Cummings' book, “Tastes of the World: 50 Original Recipes for World Class Entertaining.”

The book will also be available for $15.
