Nellie N. Coffman Middle School teacher Christine Kirov was nominated for Educator of the Year by the California League of Middle Schools (CLMS) Region 10.

The seventh grade language arts teacher is one of 10 nominated teachers and will be honored Dec.15 at a dinner in Riverside.

The Region 10 finalist will be recognized statewide and receive a trip to Maui for the CLMS Summer Institute.
