But the Indians fall to Beverly Hills in their 2nd postseason match
The Palm Springs girls tennis team made a respectable run in the postseason this year by winning its first-round matchup against Redlands East Valley on Nov. 11 for its final victory of the year.

Finishing third in the Desert Valley League forced the Indians to travel for their first match, but they were able to dominate Redlands 15-3.
In singles Falicia Thorness (6-2, 6-1, 6-1) and Meri Joy Gacayan (6-2, 6-0, 6-0) swept their sets. Fellow singles player Sophia Escamilla won one of her three sets, 6-4.
The Indians put their top player, Marina Raicevic, into the doubles side of the tournament, where she paired with Paulina Sussman, and the duo won two sets, 6-0, 6-0. Raicevic teamed with Charlotte Greenbaum to win her third doubles match 6-2.
Her twin sister, Katrina, teamed with Renee Clemente to win 6-0, 6-0, which put Palm Springs over the top.
The Indians weren't able to parlay their first victory, however, and fell to Beverly Hills in their second postseason game.
The Beverly Hills Normans are the second-seeded team in the CIF Southern Section playoffs and advanced to the semifinals against La Quinta after defeating Palm Springs.
