A chili cook-off to benefit the nonprofit Food Now Inc. food bank of Desert Hot Springs will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at Roadhouse, 64-647 Dillon Road.

The event will feature raffle prizes, a karaoke contest and a commemorative bowl signed by Rich Lopez, resident artist at Cabot's Pueblo Museum, according to an event flier.

There will be a no-host bar and custom “chili art” for sale. The event calls for a $45 donation, the flier states.
