Foat does her homework

Readers • The Desert Sun • October 25, 2009

How easy it is for us to bash and trash those who don't agree with us 100 percent. I have been guilty of that myself. Then along came Ginny Foat, who could have been an investigative reporter.

Since Ginny became a council member, issues began to be addressed and the residents of the city heard logical and truthful answers to their questions. Ginny has always done her homework before she speaks and she can back up, not make up, her answers. The answer may not always be the one you want to hear but it will be truthful and that's what we need and expect of a City Council member, someone who represents the residents of the city.

Ginny has no hidden agenda and puts Palm Springs first and foremost. Remember, Wednesday night council meetings don't represent the entire job; a council person represents us seven days a week whether they are in the city or traveling on our behalf. Ginny fills that bill and is always available for a one-on-one.

Let's get behind Ginny on Nov. 3 to make sure she remains on the council representing each and every one of us.
