A single family home burned Sunday near Desert Hot Springs, Riverside County fire officials said.
The blaze was reported at about 11:10 a.m. in the 62-700 block of 16th Avenue near Diablo Road, according to Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson Jody Hagemann.
Responding units said the fire was caused by burning debris that spread to the home.
Six units with 22 firefighters from the Palm Springs Fire Department and Riverside County Fire Department battled the blaze.
It is unclear whether the house was occupied or vacant.
