Club raised money for scholarships at dinner

The Desert Hot Springs Women's Club raised enough money at its benefit dinner to award six $1,000 scholarships, organizers announced.

The club hosted a dinner at Capri Italian Restaurant for its “Dollars for Scholars Drive.” The Oct. 19 event raised the money through ticket sales and raffles.
