The installation of signs as part of the city's Village Wayfinding Sign Program has begun, city officials announced this month.

The signs are primary gateway signs on Jefferson and Washington streets that direct people to The Village area in La Quinta; local vehicle signs at primary intersections within The Village; and pedestrian signs within the La Quinta Civic Center.

All signs are expected to be installed by mid-December, city officials said.
