Mayoral candidate to hold campaign party

Councilman Russell Betts, who is running for mayor, will hold a campaign party Friday at 6 p.m.

It will feature a free buffet dinner and live music by Audio Illusions.

The event will kick off at 6 p.m. at the Miracle Springs Resort and Spa, 10-625 Palm Drive.

Betts wants “average voters” to have opportunities to ask him questions, he said in a statement.
