'Heritage Round-Up' features games, candy

The Family Heritage Church is offering a “safe Halloween alternative” called “Heritage Round-Up.”

The Western-themed event is scheduled from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today.

The free event is expected to feature bouncers, a mechanical bull, games, candy and more.

There will be no scary costumes or masks, organizers said.

The Family Heritage Church is at 78-998 Miles Ave. in La Quinta.
