Volunteers are needed to help build a 2,500-square-foot playground at South Jackson Park.
The KaBoom! playground project will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the park, city officials said.
The playground is funded through a $61,000 grant from the Home Depot Foundation and $7,500 from the city and the Boys and Girls Club of the Coachella Valley.
