The Desert Hot Springs Police Department will accept free registrations a crime-free multi-housing program until Monday.
The free, eight-hour training is for maintenance, management and security staff at apartments or other rental units.
The training will review rental agreements and applications, tenant screening, evictions and liability, among other topics.
The class will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the Tedesco Park Resource Center, 66-140 W. Arroyo Drive.
Pre-registration is required, and forms are available in the lobby of the Desert Hot Springs Police Department, at 65-950 Pierson Blvd.
