Where in the world are the 'incumbents' in Desert Hot Springs getting the money to produce those truly expensive fliers that almost everybody is getting every day, huge billboards, the TV ads? Just look at the people who are supporting them and you will see. It's like Parks, Matas and Pye don't want to talk about the real issues: taxes, police, new businesses in town.

Has anyone seen one single word regarding those items in any of those fancy fliers? Absolutely not! They don't want to talk about the things they intend to do if re-elected, like raising taxes, more boondoggles like “the Matas temple,” and homeless fiascoes like the one Parks pulled up in Hacienda Heights.

Thinking citizens will “take your time, use your mind, do the math,” and then vote for Betts, Martin and Scheurer on Tuesday.
