O’Donnell Golf Club will celebrate its 65th Sapphire Anniversary with a lineup of special events on Nov. 14.

Festivities will begin with a morning celebrity golf scramble tournament, putting and chipping contests and a barbecue lunch. An elegant evening event starts at 6:30 p.m. with a dinner, celebration and dancing.

The golf club, built by oilman Thomas O’Donnell, who came to Palm Springs in the 1920s, is at 301 N. Belardo Road.
