The city of Desert Hot Springs will host an informal conference Thursday for building suppliers and contractors to learn about the Neighborhood Renewal Program.

The Neighborhood Renewal Program grant, which helps with improvements to the outside of homes, also offers chances for local vendors to partner with a municipal group.

The hourlong informational event begins at 2:30 p.m. in the Carl May Community Center, 11-711 West Drive.
