The La Quinta City Council is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. today in City Council Chambers, 78-495 Calle Tampico.

The council is expected to consider the second quarter Community Services grants and funding requests and an ordinance pertaining to regulations for golf carts on certain streets associated with the city's golf cart program.

Items on the council's consent calendar include consideration of an advance from the city's General Fund to the SilverRock Enterprise Fund.
