Palm Springs Unified School District's Pinnacle Fund golf tournament raised more than $13,000 for technology and arts programs in schools.
About 130 golfers participated in “Tee-Off for our kids” on Oct. 17 at Cimarron Golf Resort in Cathedral City. Each team in the scramble tournament represented a school.
The top three won a $1,000 technology prize for Nellie Coffman Middle, Cahuilla Elementary and Sunny Sands Elementary schools.
The remaining proceeds will distributed to schools through grant applications.
