Deputies investigating reports of gunfire in La Quinta

Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of gunfire in La Quinta this evening.

Investigators received calls at around 7 p.m. that shots were fired in the area of Calle Tampico, near La Quinta City Hall.

Officials responded to the area, but no victim was located, Deputy Melissa Nieburger said.

Other details were not immediately available.
