A Yucca Valley man is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and colliding with and killing a bicyclist Monday night.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Michael Goodpaster, 37, was southbound on Palomar Avenue near Joshua Drive at about 11:25 p.m.
He collided with the southbound bicyclist, who carried no identification, according to investigators.
Goodpaster was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
The collision remains under investigation.
