Advertising group to talk about leveraging social media

A local chapter of the American Advertising Federation is hosting a luncheon later this month with the featured topic on social media.

An overview of Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter and other technologies will be given at the Palm Springs Desert Cities chapter event on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa, 32-250 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage.

The cost is $30 for members and $35 for the general public. Reservations are needed by 5 p.m. today.
