Monte Carlo will come to Palm Desert on Saturday during the Desert Cancer Foundation's 11th Annual Gift of Life Celebration.

Starting at 6 p.m., Ironwood Country Club will be adorned like the Mediterranean paradise with gambling, cocktails, live music, Epicurean dining, as well as a rare wine auction, organizers said.

The Gift of Life Celebration honors the local medical community that partners with Desert Cancer Foundation. Organizers say they hope to raise $100,000 to allow the foundation to continue to assist Coachella Valley cancer patients who struggle to pay for medical care.

The celebration is presented by the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Desert Regional Medical Center. Sponsors include Baccarat Wine Vault of the Desert and Scott Burch Design.

Individual gala tickets are $350. Sponsor tables are $3,500, $5,000 and $10,000.
