Two tennis courts at the Fritz Burns Park in La Quinta are temporarily closed for utility work associated with the new Village Fire Station construction, city officials said.

The northeast court will be unavailable due to the location of the construction fence for the project and the southeast court will be available only during the day because it will not have lighting.

It is currently unknown how long the tennis courts will be affected, city officials said.
