The Artists Council of the Palm Springs Art Museum has scheduled its “Pooch Party” from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 15.

Attendees are invited to bring a leashed canine and will receive an individualized portrait of their dog. Portraits will be produced by artists with the council.

Dogs must be comfortable around people and other dogs.

The event is expected to take place at Spencer's Restaurant at the Mountain, 701 W. Baristo Road.

Cost for the party is $200 a dog with up to two owners. Funds raised at the event will go to the Artists Council to support museum education programs.
