SilverRock reopens with discounts for residents

The SilverRock Resort reopened after overseeding Wednesday and has special rates in effect until Christmas.

The rate for La Quinta residents with a valid resident card is $45 and $100 for residents' guests, resort officials said.

The city-owned public golf course is at 79-179 Ahmanson Lane.
