Dia de los Muertos event in Coachella features music, parade

Raices Cultura will host a Dia de los Muertos celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. at Centro Martin Ortiz, 1612 First St., today.

The event is to remembering loved ones that have died.

There will be live music, cultural art, and student and community altars.

A community procession begins at 6 p.m. at Dateland Park at Shady Lane and Bagdad Avenue and ends at Centro Martin Ortiz.
