From cupcakes to sushi, 12 valley food vendors are part of a three-day international food festival at the Fiesta Mall.

Today is the last day of the Indio event, which also features live music and $5 professional photo shoots. The fair lasts from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is $5. A meal from any of the vendors was $3. Proceeds will go to the Family YMCA of the Desert, co-organizer L'Tanya McCallum said.

La Quinta resident Pattritz Perez said she still had leftovers from a platter of Sizzler shrimp kebabs.

“They were not small samples,” she said. “They were pretty big meals.”

Syteck Enterprises is holding a similar festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Nov. 15 at the Palm Springs Mall, 2365 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, McCallum said.
