I was pleased to see your positive story on the snowbirds and how they affect the local economy.

Some years ago, while visiting Yuma, Ariz., there was a public discussion on how the snowbirds should be taxed for the additional road repairs, water and electricity they were using during their winter visits.

That is one reason why we enjoy coming to your valley.
