As of 3:15 p.m. today, everything was running smoothly at Palm Springs International Airport, said executive director Thomas Nolan.
Passengers traveling to cities experiencing winter storms are advised to arrive for their regularly scheduled flights, unless they have been contacted by their airline with different instructions, he said.
"Of course, we would be just as happy to have any visitors who planned to fly back to blustery winter conditions elsewhere just remain here and continue to enjoy the desert’s world-class hospitality and great weather," Nolan said.
