A man who fired several rounds at a home and vehicle in Coachella was at large Monday, a sheriff's sergeant said.

Deputies responded to a report of shots fired about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 84000 block of Redondo Sur, said Sgt. Anthony Baur of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

A home and vehicle were struck several times, but no one was hurt, Baur said, adding the shooting may have been gang-related.

Witnesses reported seeing a man running from the area and jumping into a newer, four-door vehicle that was either tan or silver.
