Moderate injuries reported in Palm Springs rollover

PALM SPRINGS — One person was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries Thursday after an early-morning rollover, a Palm Springs fire battalion chief said.

The single-vehicle crash near Palm Canyon Drive and Via Olivera was reported about 4 a.m., Battalion Chief John Allen said.

A seatbelt likely kept the injured person from being thrown from the vehicle during the rollover, he added.
