In 2011, a rock documentary was released. It wasn't about Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones or The Beatles. Instead, the film outlined a culture that inspired Long Beach-outfit Dengue Fever. The documentary, directed by John Pirozzi, sought to bring to light a music scene that was almost lost. Aptly titled 'Don't Think I've Forgotten: Cambodia's Lost Rock and Roll,' the film tells the story of music that was banned and then rediscovered and reinvented.
