    Three people, one of them a "small child," were shot tonight at a home on Redondo Sur in the Rancho Mariposa community of Coachella. Authorities say the boy, who is just under 2 years old, was shot in the head and has been critically injured. The two men suffered minor injuries -- one was shot in the leg, while the other was treated and released at the scene after he was grazed in the torso, officials said.
