    Tram devises emergency plan for stranded hikers

    If hikers get stranded atop the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway in the future, they won't have to shack up in an old mule shed. The Mount San Jacinto Winter Park Authority on Tuesday announced new procedures for accommodating hikers stranded if the tram shuts down.
